Dr. Sean Zhang, an Associate Professor of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, specializes in Medical Microbiology with a focus on diagnosing fungal diseases. He holds a medical degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and a Ph.D. in microbiology and immunology from the University of Turku in Finland. Dr. Zhang further honed his expertise through a clinical fellowship in Medical Microbiology at the University of Toronto in Canada. His diverse academic background and commitment to advancing knowledge and diagnosis make him a valuable asset to Zepto’s Medical and Technical Advisory Board.
